Science from a Year Five girl:
Welcome to the Year Five website. On this website, we will be sharing examples of our children's work. This page is a workshop containing examples of learning in action. The work will not be the children's 'final draft’.

Dear Prime Minister
As part of our 'Lightning Writing' activities, we wrote some emails to the Prime Minister suggesting some things which might be done to improve our country. Some of the best examples are below:
Dear Prime Minister,
I would like to make a few changes to our country. Firstly,
schools need to make learning more fun, so, for example, take the learning
outside.
Secondly, the dinners: why have, say, fish fingers, which are
on Wednesday. Can’t we have a mix up?
Yours sincerely,
Amy M
Dear Prime Minister,
I think you could make the country better by giving homes to
the homeless because every person in the world deserves a home to stay warm and
have shelter from storms.
Yours sincerely,
Lola N-M
Dear Prime Minister,
I think this country could be better by adding more houses
all around our neighbourhood, but only where people want it.
When they build houses, they can’t be flats; they have to be
proper houses because it will include more people near and around you. Also it
will make the lives happier and easier as well.
Yours sincerely,
Aston L
