Year Five Residential
The Year Five residential trip this week was a great success. Many pictures and updates were posted on our school social media pages on Facebook and Twitter, and a few of the pictures from the visit can be found on our school website.

The Shambles Art - #CJSY5Residential
Most of the Year Five pupils are currently away on their residential trip. Today, they visited The Shambles. The Shambles is an old street in York, England, with overhanging timber-framed buildings, some dating back as far as the fourteenth century. The pupils who have stayed in school also 'visited' The Shambles and some examples of their impressive watercolour artwork can be seen here:

Microscopic Photograph Competition!
The children had the opportunity to enter a competition where they had to take a microscopic photograph.

Book Week Costumes
The children loved dressing up to celebrate Book Week. We saw some really creative costumes!
