Following some brilliant persuasive writing around the proposal to sell a large section of the Crosshall Junior School field for the construction of a supermarket, Year Five conducted their very own (socially-distanced) council meeting to discuss the situation.
After hearing arguments from pupil, parent, staff and community representatives on both sides of the issue, the proposal was rejected by a vote of 73 to 35.
Huge thanks to our excellent writers Aleena A., Connor A., Freddie C., Imogen D., Oliver B., Isobel J., Isabella W. and Esme L.
