Sentences for a Discussion Text

Playground Maths
At the end of the school day, some of you may have noticed the chalk marks on the playground. Today, 5LM/LG took their maths outside and practised rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000 on the playground surface with chalk.

Place Value
In maths, we've started the year by looking at improving our ability to use place value and, in particular, read and order numbers up to 1 million. Here's an example of some work from 5BH:
