Today has been a really good first day in Year Five! We learnt all about our new year group and the adults who will be working with us, and we also found out more about the children in our class.
During the afternoon, we worked hard together on some fun challenges (like the river challenge) and talked through some interesting THUNKS. One of the best was, "If both hands fall off a clock and it can no longer show the time, is it still a clock?" It let to lots of great discussion!
We're really looking forward to seeing what we will learn this year.
