Vector Drawings

The entire year group have been extremely excited to discover they can make their very own vector drawings.

Calculating Perimeter

Today's maths challenge was to find the perimeter of shapes with missing lengths.  Pupils worked together in groups with peer experts leading the discussion, first colour-coding the sides and then using the bar model to help work out the missing lengths.  Some quick column addition and, hey presto, perimeter calculated!

European Exploration

With the help of their class expert, Alex, 5AC explored a variety of European countries and their capital cities.
