The Princess Who Tried To Escape The Palace by Nia

Over the weekend, Nia did some writing on Google Drive.
Once upon a time there lived a princess. This princess was called Emily and Emily had a problem. The problem was that she didn’t like being a princess!

One Tuesday morning Emily woke up with a start and realized that she was late for her breakfast, that was actually lunch, and she thought hopefully they won’t mind because it is my birthday today so they probably won’t be too strict…
“Princess Emily get down here now! You have missed breakfast and are about 5 minutes away from missing lunch so get down here now” shouted the servant.
“I’m coming. I just need to get ready.” Emily replied still half asleep.
So Emily brushed her teeth and silky brown hair and then put on her best gown and stomped down the stairs.
“What is that racket? Oh it is just our darling daughter but Emily remember that you must act as though you are a princess not a silly country girl.” the Queen said.
The King told Emily off for leaving her hair in a messy bun but then the Queen gave him a stare that said do not be too harsh on her because it is her birthday! The Queen gave Emily two big presents wrapped in wrapping paper that actually sings happy birthday! Anyway after the Queen had told Emily that she had to eat her lunch first they all sat down at the banquet table to eat the Royal Roast Dinner. Emily didn’t eat the lunch she simply scoffed it all down and had the hiccups whilst waiting for the rest of them to finish.
Finally they had all finished and they had got down Emily rushed over to her first present and ripped all the wrapping… actually it should be called singing paper, do you get it? I definitely do! Anyway back to the story she ripped all the singing paper off and screamed with joy for they had got her an amber coloured pony called chestnut! Emily knew exactly what the 2nd presant was she thought it was a horse, and guess what she was correct it was a chocolaty brown color and she had a special thing about her and that was that her name was Star and she had a Star on her nose that was pure white.
“Oh thank you, thank you so much! I simply love these presents!” Emily exclaimed.

Emily went down to the stables that had been built ages ago, and suddenly had an idea. The idea was that she should really start to go to school because ,if you didn’t already know, she couldn’t read or write!
